Transport Allowance to Government employees

1649:: Shri A. Vijayakumar:

Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state:

(a) whether Government has increased the Dearness. Allowance to Government employees;

(b) whether Government will implement other amenities mentioned in Pay Commission Report;

(c) if so, details thereof;

(d) whether there is any proposal to revise transport allowance to Government employees; and

(e) whether there is any proposal to get refund of transport allowance to those employees who worked from home?

(a) Yes, Sir. The Government has released the installments of DA/DR from 01.07.2021 which were due from 01.01.2020, 01.07.2020 and 01.01.2021 in respect of Central Government employees/pensioners. The Central Government employees/Pensioners will get DA/DR @ 28% (11% over the existing rate of 17%) from July, 2021;

(b) & (c) So far as Pay & Allowances of Central Government employees are concerned, recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission have already been implemented;

(d) No, Sir;

(e) No, Sir.

सरकारी कर्मचारियों को परिवहन भत्त्ता

क्या वित्त मंत्री यह बताने की कृपा करेंगे कि:

(क) क्या सरकार ने सरकारी कर्मचारियों के महंगाई भत्ते में वृद्धि की है;

(ख) क्‍या सरकार सातवें वेतन आयोग की रिपोर्ट में उल्लिखित अन्य सुविधाओं को लागू करेगी;

(ग) यदि हां, तो तसंबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है;

(घ) कया सरकारी कर्मचारियों के परिवहन को परिशोधित करने का कोई प्रस्ताव है; और

(ड) क्या घर से काम करने वाले कर्मचारियों से परिवहन भत्ता वापस लेने का कोई प्रस्ताव है?

उत्तर 

वित्त मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (श्री पंकज चौधरी)

(क): जी, हां। सरकार ने केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों/पेंशनभोगियों के संबंध में 01.07.2021 से महंगाई भत्ते/महंगाई राहत की किस्तें जारी कर दी हैं जो दिनांक 01.01.2020, 01.07.2020 तथा 01.01.2021 से देय थीं। केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों/पेंशनभोगियों को जुलाई, 2021 से 28% की दर (17% की मौजूदा दर के ऊपर 11%) पर महंगाई भत्ता/महंगाई राहत मिलेगी।

(ख) और (ग): जहां तक केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों के वेतन और भत्तों का संबंध है, 7वें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशें पहले ही लागू की जा चुकी हैं।

(ध): जी, नहीं।

(ड.): जी, नहीं।
